During her recent official visit to the Holy Land, just three months after taking office, Archbishop Sarah Mullally, the new Archbishop of Canterbury met with Rabbis for Human Rights (RHR) in Jerusalem.
RHR writes: "We gathered at St George's College alongside our partners at Sabeel, the Palestinian Christian centre for liberation theology, and talked about what religious leadership needs to become in these times of moral crisis.
"We presented Faithful Futures, our shared project with Sabeel, which is rooted in the conviction that our future begins when communities actually meet one another.
"We spoke honestly about our shared concerns: the rising settler violence against Palestinian communities across the West Bank, with a focus on Palestinian Christian communities at high risk.
"Together we committed to the role of religion as a light toward justice and peace, and to use our interfaith partnerships as platform for the sanctity of life."
