Croydon: '50 Faces of the Holy Land' exhibition

A new exhibition: '50 Faces of the Holy Land' exhibition in Croydon is coming to Croydon Minster from 16 - 28 June 2026.
Previously displayed in the Houses of Parliament, and venues including St Mary's Cathedral Edinburgh, this poignant and impactful display showcases the resilience and faith of the Christian community of the Holy Land.
See for yourself some of those forgotten about by the general media in their appetite to cover the war that has been raging for the last three years in the region; come and bear witness to those from the founding communities of our faith.
The faces of this exhibition are marked with its history, its diversity, its joy and its suffering. Each face tells a story. Each person, a memory. The '50 Faces of the Holy Land' project is a photographic exhibition commissioned to highlight and promote the lives of the faithful in Palestine, Jordan and Israel.
Showing people of all ages, and experiences; we can see what it is to live in a land that is known by so many to be holy.
Join us that we may pray together that the hearts of men, leading the warring factions in the Holy Land, will change; that they will find the strength to turn away from from violence and hatred to see the humanity and dignity of the other and thereby a path to peace may prevail.
Alongside the exhibition, you are very welcome to attend two services at the Minster: Ecumenical service on Wednesday 17th June at 5.30pm. and Sung Eucharist - Sunday 28th June 5.30pm.
There will be a retiring collection at the Sung Eucharist in thanksgiving for Bishop Christopher's ministry as Bishop of Southwark. He is a Patron of Friends of the Holy Land and has established the Southwark link with the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem.
'50 Faces of the Holy Land' exhibition runs from 16 - 28 June 2026 in Croydon Minster, Church Street, Croydon, CR0 1RN.
