Lent Message from Friends of the Holy Land - Week Two: Mazen

Mazen
Throughout Lent, Friends of the Holy Land is sharing personal stories from our brothers and sisters in Christ and their individual special prayers.
This week we invite you to pray for Mazen, a 62-year-old father of three from Ramallah. He lost his job after many years working in carpentry and manufacturing. He also faces chronic health issues that are difficult to manage without a steady income.
Thanks to your generosity, Mazen received financial support from Friends of the Holy Land to help cover essential medical care. This assistance lifted a heavy burden, allowing his limited resources to stretch further and giving his family renewed hope.
Mazen's three sons work hard but earn very little. His prayer is that they can remain in their homeland despite the growing economic hardship that continues to make daily life more difficult.
Mazen shared with us: "I have hope and always pray to God… that they can remain steadfast here in the Holy Land."-
Please pray
- For Mazen and his sons, and all young people in the Holy Land, that they may find opportunities to build a future.
- The Christian community, that it may remain steadfast in faith and rooted in the land of its birth.
- Families struggling with illness and financial hardship.
Thank you for standing in prayer with Mazen and families like his during this season of reflection.
