London: Choral Scholarships at St Dominic's

The Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary & St Dominic, The Rosary Shrine, is seeking a competent Soprano, Alto and Tenor to enhance the Sunday liturgies by augmenting the existing voluntary choirs. One choir sings weekly for the 12pm New Rite Mass (English) while another choir sings monthly at the 5pm Dominican Old Rite Mass (Latin).

Both choirs enjoy a varied repertoire of Gregorian and Dominican plainchant and sacred polyphony, as well as cantor-led congregational singing, equipping scholars with singing and leadership skills applicable to a variety of liturgical settings.

These scholarships are for singers of any age (including sixth-form school leavers) who are confident in solo and choral singing as well as committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about Catholic sacred musuc.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of and to enrich the musical life of an active parish and diocesan shrine.
