Rosary Shrine lecture: Can Our Lady unite Christians?

Maria (The Return) by Anders Widorff
Are we seeing a return of devotion to Mary as a figure who can unite Christians? Ulf Ekman will be reflecting on this subject when he gives the 2026 Rosary Shrine Lecture this Saturday.
A Swedish Christian author and former Protestant pastor, Elf Ekman founded and led a large church in Sweden for three decades, before he and his wife Birgitta were received into the Catholic Church in 2014.
The Ekmans have described their spiritual journey in The Great Discovery: Our Journey to the Catholic Church.
Ulf Ekman will explore whether we are seeing a return of Mary as a figure who can unite Christians, drawing inspiration from the Anders Widorff sculpture in Uppsala's Lutheran cathedral, 'Maria (The Return)'.
The Rev'd Ewan King, pastor of Heath Street Baptist Church, will give a response.
The Lecture will take place at St Dominic's - The Rosary Shrine, Southampton Road, London, NW5 4LB, starting at 7pm on Saturday 17th October. (Nearest Tube stops: Belsize Park and Chalk Farm).
Entry is free but registration is requested at: www.tinyurl.com/rosaryshrinelecture2026
