New: YouCast Youth Ministry Podcast

YouCast is the UK Catholic Youth Ministry Podcast for chaplains, priests, teachers, catechists, youth workers, team members and anyone concerned with young people, their faith and the role they play in the life of the Church. While this resource has listeners in more that 25 countries it is aimed at Catholic Youth Ministers in England and Wales.

Episodes include interviews, news, film reviews, prayers and reflections. Themes include the Year of Faith, New Evangelisation and its impact upon the world of Catholic Youth Ministry.

There are recordings of Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Fr Robert Barron and the later Cardinal Basil Hume sharing their thoughts on the nature of evangelisation, the mission of the Church and how we are to respond to the mandate we receive at Baptism and Confirmation to make disciples. Their thoughts are put alongside the thoughts and experieces of Harry Wilson, the MYMission Line Manager, who has worked as a Catholic Head Teacher and also as a member of the YCW.

This podcast will help you focus not simply on the 'how' of Catholic Youth Ministry but, in this Year of Faith, the 'why' - Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
