Organisation to support autistic Catholics being established

A new organisation, Catholic Autism UK, is being established to support autistic Catholics, their families, and parish communities throughout the United Kingdom.

Catholic Autism UK aims to provide a welcoming community for autistic Catholics, promote greater understanding of autism within the Church, and support parishes in becoming more inclusive and accessible. It will also provide opportunities for discussion, mutual support, and the sharing of resources and good practice.

Catholic Autism UK is seeking to bring together autistic Catholics, parents, clergy, religious, educators, and others who have an interest in autism and faith.

Anyone who would like to learn more, support the work, or become involved is warmly invited to get in touch.

We believe that every person has gifts to offer The Church, and that autistic Catholics should feel fully welcomed, valued, and included in the life of our Catholic communities.
