Alloysius Frederick, chair of trustees for All Saint's Multi-Academy Trust, has been awarded an MBE in this year's King's Birthday Honours List for services to education.

Over more than two decades, Alloysius has played a significant role in strengthening schools and supporting the development of Catholic education across Westminster Diocese. His work has focused on strong governance, clear leadership, and building sustainable school communities.

As Chair of the Trust Board for All Saints' Multi-Academy Trust, he led its establishment in 2016, initially bringing together St Bernadette's and St Gregory's Catholic Science College. The Trust has since grown in stages, expanding in 2019 and again in 2024 and 2025 to include additional primary and secondary schools.

Throughout this period, he has helped schools improve standards and develop more effective leadership and governance. His approach combines challenge with practical support, contributing to stronger accountability, improved outcomes, and consistent Ofsted success.

Alongside this work, Alloysius has supported education more widely through service on Harrow and Brent panels and by mentoring governing bodies nationally as a former National Leader of Governance. He also served for 15 years as an Independent Custody Visitor, helping to safeguard the welfare of detainees.

This recognition reflects sustained service and a clear commitment to improving education for young people and their communities.
