Please help us save Mount St Mary's College and Barlborough Hall School

Like many independent Catholic schools across the country, Mount St Mary's College and Barlborough Hall School, just outside Sheffield in North East Derbyshire, are facing a financial crisis. Mount St Mary's was founded by the Jesuits in 1842, and Barlborough Hall in 1939, but the schools have been an independent trust for nearly twenty years, and last week the governors were left with no choice but to vote to go into administration when they did not have the funds to pay the July payroll.
The parents of the school are putting together a rescue mission and have set up a GoFundMe page in an attempt to raise £1 million by Tuesday evening, so that the immediate bills can be paid and the school can stay open long enough for a plan for a viable future, which is already being worked on, to be put into action.
You can help secure the future of these schools, which have been providing Catholic education for 183 years, by contributing to the GoFundMe page. If this rescue bid is unsuccessful, all donations will be returned to the donors.
