What are the challenges of serving as a priest in today's world?

Why does the world need Dominicans, and what is special about their formation?

In a new short video, seven young Dominican Friars who are in active ministry, and one who is about to be ordained on 5 July, pull back the curtain to reveal the difficulties and the joys of their vocation: the variety of roles they take on, the demands placed upon them, and how their time of formation in Oxford prepared them for all this.

Meet Fr Toby, Fr Nicholas, Fr Matthew, Fr Joseph, Fr Bede, Br (soon to be Fr) John, Fr Thomas and Fr Albert, all ordained in the last decade, and now charged with great responsibilities - including the pastoral care of students, running a radio station, and heading up the English Province.
