On 29 December 2023, Virginia Moffatt and Chris Cole went to Downing Street to protest about the UK government's complicity in the genocide in Gaza. They poured red poster paint on the gates, and made bloody handprints and read the names of children killed by Israel and Hamas.

They were charged with criminal damage and are appearing in City of London Magistrate's Court (1 Queen Victoria St, London EC4N 4XY) on Thursday 25th April 2024 at 10am. They will be defending themselves.

The evening before the trial the Catholic Worker House in North London is hosting a public meeting to discuss the case, the government's continued political and military support for Israel and what the future might hold for Palestine.

Guest speakers are Kirsten Bayes of Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) and Milan Rai, Co-editor of Peace News.

All are welcome to join them on the evening of the 24th and in court on 25th.

Meeting: Resisting UK complicity in Israel's War on Palestine.

24th April, 7.30pm at The London Catholic Worker, 49 Mattinson Road, London, N4 5BG.
