London: Women's World Day of Prayer at St Dominic's Priory

Catholic Mothers and Radio Maria England will be presenting a special Day for Women at St Dominic's Priory, in Haverstock Hill, on Saturday, 2 March, as part of the Women's World Day of Prayer for 2024. The theme this year is: I beg you, bear with one another in love.

All are welcome to the event which will explore women's roles in the Way of the Cross and in support of one another. There will be a children's area of storytelling and crafts.

Doors open at 10am for people to check in.

10.30am - Exploring What is the Eternal Woman? with Sarah de Nordwall.
12pm - Mass, proceeded by a Rosary Procession
1.30pm - Lunch Break (Please bring your lunch. There aren't any takeout places nearby. We do have a microwave, if you should need it)
2pm - A Testimony by Delphine Chui
3.15pm - Calligraphy led by Chris Parreno
4.00pm - Closing Prayers

The children will register and head upstairs for a start at 10.30pm. They will rejoin their carer for Mass and the lunch break and then the children's programme will begin again at 2pm till 4pm. Children under five years old must have a carer with them upstairs.

Upstairs our authors have stories and crafts to share. For children that would like to remain with their carer in the main hall, there will be a little area in the main hall for younger children to draw, and play whilst their carer listens and takes part in the main portions of the event.

Confessions will be available between 11am- 12pm in the church.

Everyone is invited, and we are so pleased to have support from Fr Joseph and Fr Alfred throughout the event.

Catholic Mothers UK will have a shop stall and so will our authors and speakers - so you will get a chance to purchase some goodies to take home and share with your parish, family and friends.

Please check directions to the Rosary Shrine by clicking here: https://rosaryshrine.co.uk/rosary-shrine/visit-the-shrine/. The toilets with the hall have changing areas and we will haev plenty of hot drinks and biscuits.

We look forward to spending the day in fellowship and prayer with you tomorrow!
