Song: Take Back the Sky

Ann Farr writes: "From two Ecumenical Accompanier friends, who served in the same West Bank village as me, at different times. A reminder of this wonderful nonviolent action by the children of Gaza and a song we should use everywhere until the skies are reclaimed for the children."
From Penny Stone ('Penny Sings' is her Facebook page).
"Karen and I have been singing this song for 13 years now. And it feels an important time to share it again. It tells the story of the children of Gaza breaking the world record for flying the most kites in the sky simultaneously, first in 2010 and then again in 2011.
It is still my favourite piece of nonviolent direct action ever - just loads of kids waving at us all and saying 'hi - we're just kids.'
Please see and hear these children and be moved to speak out for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza. It is so far beyond urgent, and your voice does matter. Please use it."
