Prayer Request from Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem

Please add your prayers, for peace in the Holy Land, in response to the call from His Eminence the Latin Patriarch who has sent the following message to all priests of the Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem:

To all priests and faithful in our diocese, the peace of the Lord be with you. I call on all believers to offer Sunday Mass on 8 October for the intention of ceasefire and end to the ongoing war in the Holy Land, asking the Lord to prevent further bloodshed, shattering of lives and burial of hopes.

Let us all pray with one heart and one soul with Pope Francis: "Lord, come to our aid! Grant us peace, teach us peace; guide our steps in the way of peace. Open our eyes and our hearts and give us the courage to say: "Never again war!"
