USA: Interfaith prayer vigil on storming of Capitol Hill anniversary

On Thursday, 5 January 2023, Franciscan Action Network and friends will host an interfaith vigil to commemorate the anniversary of the storming of the Capitol Hill by reflecting together and praying for peace, featuring prayerful songs by Anthony "Wordsmith" Parker. The event will be hybrid, held in person on the Capitol grounds in Washington, DC, and online for those across the country.

Speakers will include Pax Christi USA Bishop-President Bishop John Stowe, OFM Conv, Sister Caroline Zinn SSJ, Rabbi Stephanie Crawley, Rev Glenna Huber, Rev Paul Raushenbush, Imam Dr Talib Shareef and Rev Dr Liz Theoharis.
