The Church Today and Tomorrow - online talk with Joe Fitzpatrick + update

The Church today is in crisis, as both Pope Francis and Cardinal Marx have recently acknowledged - there is the sexual abuse scandal, seminaries are closing, priests are ageing, their numbers dwindling. What should we do? Scripture scholar Joe Fitzpatrick will be discussing these issues at the Briery Retreat Centre, Ilkley, West Yorkshire this evening from 7-8pm.

Joe Fitzpatrick graduated in philosophy and theology at the Gregorian University in Rome and in English literature at Cambridge. He has been a teacher, college lecturer and HM Inspector of schools. Also he has had three books published, the most recent being 'Leavis and Lonergan', published this year.
