Zimbabwe: Official launch of John Bradburne's Cause announced

On 1st July 2019, the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in Rome issued a formal nihil obstat for the cause of beatification of Franciscan missionary John Bradburne to proceed.

On 5th September 2019, the 40th Anniversary of John's assassination, there will be a special ceremony at Mutemwa in Zimbabwe where the cause will be officially launched.

Two weeks later, on 21st September 2019, the celebrations will continue at Westminster Cathedral in London with a Mass, followed by an exhibition of John's life with John's relics being displayed for the first time.
