Lancashire: Opportunity to hear Vatican Astronomer

Source: Jesuits in Britain

St Wilfrid's Jesuit Parish in Preston and the Xaverian Missionaries of Preston are very proud to host a talk by Br Guy Consolmagno SJ, Director of the Vatican Observatory, on 8 October.

This is one of a series of talks as part of St Wilfrid's CAFOD Live Simply Campaign and in line with the Pope's encyclical Laudato Si.

Br Guy is a Jesuit brother and planetary scientist at the Vatican Observatory and, thanks to his Vatican connections, his work has sent him around the world to every continent including a meteorite expedition in Antarctica.

The event will take place at the Xaverian Missionaries Spirituality Centre in Fulwood, from 7 to 9pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm.
