London: Evening on Intergenerational Justice

An evening on Intergenerational Justice - responsibility and blame from baby-boomers to millennials in ethical business practice - organised by the Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility (ECCR) and Just Share, takes place on Wednesday, 11 October at 6pm, in St Mary-le-Bow, Cheapside, London, EC2V 6AU - two minutes from St Paul's Cathedral.

Intergenerational Justice demands that one generation must not benefit or suffer unfairly at the cost of another. With the prospect of Brexit looming how can we ensure that one generation is not leaving the world significantly worse off?

Can the generation that landed astronauts on the moon and invented the internet leave behind a world of similar opportunity for the upcoming generations? What are the best ways to ensure justice and equal opportunities across location and age? How do businesses ensure that their ethical practices will continue to thrive into the next generation?

Confirmed speakers include Christopher Stockwell (Chair of ECCR) and Angus Hanton (Intergenerational Foundation)

Before this meeting, ECCR supporters are warmly invited to meet Trustees and staff over a cup of tea to learn about and contribute to what ECCR is doing and developing, at 4.30pm in the Vestry of St Mary-le-Bow Church.
