Oxford: launch of Blackfriars Hall prize for community service

The new Las Casas Institute at Blackfriars Hall Oxford has launched the Blackfriars Hall Prize for community service this week.

The prize will be a national award for community service undertaken by faith-based schools and young peoples' groups of all backgrounds, alongside an essay competition linked to 'public reasoning'. The Hall also plans to award Oxbridge's first service learning scholarships to mature undergraduates with a passion to serve in national and international organisations.
