Dermot O'Leary to wrap up cathedral for CAFOD
TV star Dermot O'Leary, with pupils from the Sacred Heart school, Camberwell and St Mary's College, Hull, were planning to wrap a huge MAKE POVERTY HISTORY white band around the front of Westminster Cathedral this morning. The purpose of the stunt is to promote the Make Poverty History campaign and CAFOD's Lent Fast Day. Dermot said: "2005 provides a huge opportunity for change. CAFOD is asking its supporters to push for debt cancellation, fairer trade rules and more aid to help struggling countries in Africa. This is everyone's chance to be part of something big make poverty history with CAFOD." CAFOD's Lent Fast takes place tomorrow. There will be special collections in parishes over the weekend.
