Cardinal seeks support for UN
The Pope's vicar for Rome has appealed for governments around the world to support the United Nations in the face of challenges to world peace. Addressing a congress organised by the Roman Work for Pilgrimages this week, Cardinal Camillo Ruini said such support must be given with ignoring the present limits of the UN. He called for "sincere support so that this organisation can keep up with the changes and be able to address the grave challenges of today and tomorrow."
