Canada: Plans for Coast to Coast Rosary Rallies

Canada Needs Our Lady will be holding Rosary Rallies across the country this Saturday, 10 October 2026.
This special campaign, which originated in Saint Hubert, Quebec, has been inspired by the Tradition, Family Property (TFP) movement of Brazilian Catholic activist Plinio Correa de Oliveira.
According to Joseph Gensens, Fatima Custodian for Canada Needs Our Lady: "The reaction from Canadians has been very encouraging. We hear from people who are so grateful to have the opportunity to come together and pray the Rosary publicly - not only for Canada, but for their families and their communities."
"The growth from last year has been significant. Last year we had 1,083 Rosary Rallies across Canada, and this year we have already surpassed 1,550. I believe there is a growing awareness among Canadians that we need to pray for our country."
He said: "We want Canadians to turn to Our Lady, pray the Rosary and rediscover the message of Fatima.
"Many individual Roman Catholic parishes, Catholic Women's Leagues (CWL) and church affiliated groups, like the Legion of Mary, are actively hosting, promoting and organising these outdoor Public Square Rosary Rallies.
"Canada needs Our Lady to pray Canada back to God one Holy Rosary at a time."
