HCPT appoints new Fundraising & Communications Director

Claire Quigley
HCPT (the Hosanna House and Children's Pilgrimage Trust) is delighted to announce the appointment of Claire Quigley as Fundraising & Communications Director bringing a wealth of senior charity leadership experience to the organisation.
Claire joins HCPT after five years at Money Ready, where she was Deputy CEO and Fundraising & Communications Director. Claire led the charity's income and communication teams, growing fundraising from £1.4m to a £5m, overseeing a major rebrand and supporting a successful merger.
Her track record of diversifying income streams and driving performance makes her ideally placed to support HCPT's ambitious plans to grow and transform its income, and to better support its network of volunteers and groups across the UK.
With a career spanning some of the UK's most respected charities, Claire has held senior roles at the NSPCC, The King's Trust and Tommy's - the baby charity. Throughout her career she has championed social mobility, and brings deep expertise across the youth and wider social impact sectors.
Tricia Macfarlane, CEO at HCPT, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Claire to the team. Her exceptional track record of growth and innovation in the charity sector, combined with her passion for making a difference, makes her a fantastic fit for HCPT at such an exciting time, as we look to the future for our mission, building on the success of our 70th Platinum Jubilee Year."
Claire said: " Joining HCPT is a genuine privilege. The work this charity does is priceless; creating transformative, unforgettable experiences for children with varying needs, adults and volunteers that they will treasure for a lifetime. The devotion of its incredible volunteers and supporters is the most powerful testament to the impact HCPT has on everyone it touches. I bring experience of driving growth, increasing performance and reinvigorating brands, but I know I'll learn just as much as I contribute. I'm deeply committed to helping HCPT reach more people and write its next chapter."
HCPT has been providing life-changing pilgrimage holidays to Lourdes for children and adults with varying needs for 70 years. Supported by volunteers and groups across the UK, HCPT continues to create experiences of friendship, care and joy for all who travel.
The HCPT Easter Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place annually and is one of the largest Catholic pilgrimages of its kind from the UK.
