Sheffield: Shining a light on food sustainability

Members and friends of the National Justice and Peace Network will be gathering in St. Mary's Church, Bramall Lane, Sheffield S2 4QZ this Saturday, 25 April, to hear local speakers talk around the issue of food sustainability.
Professor Peter Jackson from the University of Sheffield talk about the H3 Project, including reference to meat farming and animal welfare.
Ian and Maggie Patterson are medical professionals; Ian is a retired Consultant anaesthetist and Maggie a GP. They are passionate about promoting healthy and sustainable living for all people. They believe that making informed choices will enhance our wellbeing and protect our planet.
There will also be some input from local organisations, a chance for questions and for networking.
Please bring you own lunch. Tea/Coffee will be provided by the centre but they ask for a donation of £2 per drink.
We are also suggesting a donation of £10 per person if you are able to manage it. A collecting basket will be on the table at registration.
