Christmas Message from the Tent of Nations - near Bethlehem

View from Tent of Nations
As we walk through a dark tunnel, where hope often feels distant and fragile, we hold to one unshakable truth, the candle is still burning. Even in the deepest darkness, the light of Christ continues to shine, and the darkness will never overcome it.
Here at the Tent of Nations, where our hope is tested daily and pressure surrounds us from every side, Christmas speaks directly into our reality today. God chose to be born in vulnerability, not in power, in hardship, not in comfort. This is not just a story we remember, it is a truth we live by.
Day after day, we witness and proclaim that light still shines in the darkness, that love is stronger than hate, and that hope overcomes despair. This is why we refuse to surrender, and we refuse to give up.
May this Christmas strengthen our courage, deepen our sumud, and renew our steadfast hope. May it give us the strength to keep shining, keep witnessing, and keep standing together, even in the midst of darkness.
We will continue the long journey for justice with faith, love and hope. Thank you for walking with us on this journey.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed, hopeful New Year.
Blessings and Salaam,
Nassar Family
