The Wintershall Nativity Play at Bramley near Guildford in Surrey takes place from 16 - 21 December. Dramatic and intimate, the story begins in the open air with the shepherds. The audience then take their seats in the atmospheric barn, where the Nativity story unfolds.
It is a Nativity - suitable for families - where the audience is placed in the middle of a 90-minute-long immersive theatre experience. Stand with the shepherds, walk with Mary, Joseph and the donkey, journey with Roman soldiers and enter the stable to watch the miracle unfold.
Note that 16-17 December are schools-only days.
Wintershall CIO is a registered charity, founded to bring the Bible story to life through drama. The plays help 35,000 people a year to experience the Jesus story, relying on a community of dedicated volunteer cast and crew. The theatre company brings the Passion of Christ to London's Trafalgar Square on Good Friday each year.
