Archbishop Theodosios Atallah Hanna
The Archbishop of Sebastia Theodosios Atallah Hanna, from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem writes:
Pray for Gaza after the war ends
We raise our prayers and prayers this morning for the affected and plagued Gaza and for its people who are living in tragic and catastrophic situations due to the War of Genocide and its tragic consequences on the lives of citizens.
The war is over, but the tragedy of Gaza is not over, and the people of Gaza live among the numbers, sweeping the earth and invade the sky, so we ask you, O God, to be our aid to them, and to establish them, and to oppose them, and console them, and their majority lost loved ones, relatives and loved ones.
The people of Gaza are living in terrible shock, pain and sadness, and after the war ends, the true picture and the horrible disaster that our people in the sector will appear clearer.
O Lord, be with our people in Gaza in these times, they need your mercy and assistance, and a period after the war is a period of mourning for the wounds and deep thinking about what the people of Gaza should do for their country, and for the sake of increasing numbers and rebuilding the lives, so that Gaza returns more beautiful than it was before, and that is with the help and sympathy of brothers And friends.
Gaza is a blessed area where saint fathers lived, where historical sites and archaeological churches, where the Church of Saint Porphyrius and the Church of the Holy Family are witnesses to the suffering of our people in the strip.
O Lord, be with our families in these two churches to whom they have resorted to because of the war and because of the disasters that befell our people in Gaza, and be with our people in all of Gaza, they are all our brothers, and where there is pain, sadness and severity, our support is for the person who needs to be on his side in these difficult and painful times.
O Lord, have mercy on our people in Gaza, and be with them and have mercy on them in these times and in these difficult circumstances.
His Highness, may Allah grant us
Archbishop Hanna
