London: Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at St Peter's Italian Church

Padre Andrea and Padre Giuseppe welcome you and your friends to join the celebrations for the Festa della Madonna del Carmine this Sunday 20th July at St Peter's Italian Church!

The historic procession, which dates back to the 1880s, will begin right outside St Peter's Italian Church on Clerkenwell Road at 3.30pm.

The Madonna and statues of the Saints from the church will be paraded through the streets, accompanied by parishioners of all ages dressed in traditional costumes, many depicting biblical scenes - as well as representatives from Italian associations and community groups

Throughout the day, just around the corner from the church on Warner Street, there will be stalls open selling delicious Italian food, drinks and memorabilia, so why not stop off for a panino or some porchetta - or maybe even a glass of Prosecco? All profits go to St Peter's Italian Church!
