Christians Aware: 'Lifestyle for the 21st Century' Summer School

Christians Aware's Summer School 2025 takes the theme: 'Travelling Towards the Light - Lifestyle for the 21st Century.' The popular annual event will be held 20-25 July at Parcevall Hall, near Appletreewick, in the scenic Yorkshire Dales. Parcevall Hall, the Anglican Diocese of Leeds Retreat Centre, is situated at the eastern limit of the Craven Fault which stretches 30 miles from Stump Cross Caverns to Ingleton in the Dales.

All are welcome to the summer school. The focus will be on developing a lifestyle for the health of people everywhere, for the natural world and for Earth itself. Speakers include Barbara Butler, Executive Secretary of Christians Aware; John Dawson, Farmer near Clapham & Broadcaster; Cordelia Paterson, Eco-mission Enabler in Leeds Diocese & Green Christian; Euan McPhee, Environmentalist & Lifestyle Movement, Nona Wright, Educationalist & Lifestyle Movement; Stephen Ramsden, Farmer in Upper Nidderdale; Jane and Stephen Skinner, Parish Priests in Devon; Judith Allinson, Botanist; Chris Shepherd; Musician.

Leicester-based Christians Aware is an international and ecumenical network. Its main aim is to develop multi-cultural understanding and friendship locally, nationally and internationally, in a spirit of sharing. It hopes new energy is generated for action towards human development and wholeness, through conferences, work-camps, international exchanges, books and other publications, including the 'Christians Aware' magazine.
