Your email is usually the first I open every morning. It usually prompts prayer or concern, or gratitude, or some small action, donation or prayer. Today it prompted tears when I read about the 8th Colloquium of Buddhists and Christians in Cambodia. What a marvellous people they are!

On the first Tuesday of the month, Churches Together in Hexham hold an ecumenical morning prayer service in Hexham Abbey.

We're quite a small group (20-30), and usually mostly oldies. We sit facing each other in a squashed circle. It has become a very important part of life for me and friends.

Thanks so much for keeping us informed about the wider world.
