Childhood and Contemporary Catholicism

The Margaret Beaufort Institute is hosting (in person and via Zoom): Childhood and Contemporary Catholicism, on Thursday, 8 May at 5pm.
This inspiring evening explores the profound role of Catholicism in shaping the lives of children and young people today. Childhood and Contemporary Catholicism, a thought-provoking new book by Lord Gerard Lemos, uncovers the diverse ways Catholic faith and practice enrich the spiritual, family, and community lives of both Catholic and non-Catholic children.
Through extensive research and conversations with children, young people, and educational professionals across multiple countries, Lord Lemos reveals how Catholic education, parish life, youth work, pilgrimages, monastic retreats, and religious art and music provide vital support for children navigating the complexities of the modern world. This event will offer Catholic professionals, educators, parents, and anyone interested in faith and education an opportunity to reflect on and strengthen their work with young people.
