London: Priestly Ordination at Farm Street Jesuit Church

The priestly ordination of Carlos Enrique Chuquihuara Aguirre SJ, will take place on Saturday, 6th July, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, also known as Farm Street Church, in Mayfair (W1K 3AH). The ordination will be led by Bishop John Sherrington, Auxiliary of Westminster Diocese, starting at 12 noon.
Carlos was born in Peru and has lived and trained with the British Province of Jesuits in London. We warmly invite your prayers and support for him on this special occasion.

EXHIBITION
This weekend, there is also a special 175th anniversary exhibition at Farm Street Church, hosted by the British Jesuit Archives. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk through Farm Street Gardens, and see this stunning neo-Gothic church founded on 31 July 1844 before exploring the exhibition which showcases the church's rich history. Running from 5 to 7 July, the exhibition explores the early history of the church and the development of the building, at the effects of the Second World War and aspects of parish life, as well as notable Jesuits associated with the church.
A special display in the Sacred Heart Chapel offers a look at the work of four of the church's architects: Joseph John Scoles, Augustus Pugin, Henry Clutton, and WH Romaine Walker.

6 July: 10am - 12pm & 1pm-3pm
7 July: 0am - 12.30pm
Access to the exhibition is via the church. Please speak to the steward at the back of the church, who will direct you.
The exhibition is free to attend and will also be available on 22 and 23 October from 10am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4pm.
