Appeal from Good Counsel Network ahead of March for Life

Dear Supporters,

Are you coming to The March for Life, 2nd September? Find The Good Counsel Network stall, 10.30am until 1pm, for free badges and magnets, to learn about our life saving work, our intern programme and our daily Pro-Life Prayer Vigils. At the Emmanuel Centre, Marsham Street, London, SW1P 3DW, from where the March will start at 1.30pm.

It's always hard to ask for money during the summer holidays!

Currently the Mothers and babies we support are struggling with the price of food, with rent and with the difficulties of even getting to rent anywhere in the first place. Unfortunately our donors, staff and volunteers are also struggling with the cost of living so it's not surprising that regular donations are falling. We already had to make an emergency appeal in Lent this year -many thanks if you donated to that.

But without regular donations it is very hard to plan or commit to supporting Mothers in need. Of course, we rely on God's Providence to be able to support the Mothers we serve, we always have done since the first expectant mum came through our doors when we had no money at all! However, in order to work in the modern world, we have to be able to show the bank and the powers that be that we have got a plan. They are not so keen on relying on Providence!

By committing to a regular donation of whatever you can afford - however small or large - you make a commitment to support the mums we help and to keep our doors open to help other mums-to-be. This makes it possible for us to commit to support them too.

Regular donations can be made by setting up a Standing Order from your bank account to ours. You can also Gift Aid your regular donations by filling in a Gift Aid form and returning it to us.
