The Apostolic Nuncio to Great Britain, will be visiting the Catholic National Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham on Monday June 12 to celebrate Mass on the 15th anniversary of his episcopal ordination.

Bishop Peter Collins said: "I am delighted to announce that his Excellency Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia, Apostolic Nuncio to Great Britain, will be visiting the Catholic National Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham on Monday June 12. His Excellency was appointed by his Holiness Pope Francis on April 13, 2023.

"I was delighted when the Nunciature contacted me to say that our new Apostolic Nuncio desired to celebrate the sacrifice of the Mass at the National Shrine to mark the 15th anniversary of his episcopal ordination. We are honoured by the prospect of welcoming the representative of the Holy See to our diocese. We offer our prayerful congratulations to his Excellency as he prepares for his anniversary and we extend to him the assurance of our prayers for the intentions of the Holy Father."

The Nuncio will celebrate Mass at 10am on Monday 12 June at Walsingham.

The Mass will be livestreamed simultaneously on Walsingham Catholic TV, EWTN and Radio Maria.
