Coventry pupils spread the love for Mums

  • Tom Howell

Neighbourhoods in Coventry have been adorned with hundreds of artistic expressions of love thanks to a creative project honouring mums in the city.

Pupils at St Gregory's Catholic Primary School, part of the Romero Catholic Academy, have distributed more than 200 pebble art creations throughout parks and green spaces in the area for locals to find and help spread the love.

Pupils in all year groups at the school were given a pebble to decorate with felt tips or paint around the theme of 'spreading joy for others' in honour of any maternal figures in their lives inspired by Mother's Day, before sealing them with varnish to protect them against the outdoors.
