Please would you share the Sabeel Wave of Prayer ?

Sabeel Wave of Prayer is the simplest ecumenical way to bring to light the weekly concerns of Christians living in Palestine/Israel.

If Catholic congregations were encouraged to join in with these prayer intentions, they would become more aware of the true facts of the human rights abuses perpetrated on the Palestinians - facts which are rarely reported by international media or are reported in a biased way.

Conflating the support of Palestine and opposition to the oppressive actions of the Israeli state and military with antisemitism is wrong.It should not be used as a tool to prevent the right to speak the truth or to justly hold the powerful to account.

Bishop Robert Barron seemed to advocate for greater political awareness and standing up for justice responsibly. Being informed about the cares of our fellow Christians is a step towards Christian unity and supporting them prayerfully could help us to be more proactive in speaking up for them. It seems to me that our Church joining the Wave of Prayer would be an excellent way to begin.
