London: Shrine of Bl Carlo Acutis to be unveiled

On the feast day of Blessed Carlo Acutis, Wednesday 12th October, Bishop Nicholas Hudson will be celebrating a Pontifical Sung Mass and unveiling and blessing the newly-carved Shrine of Blessed Carlo, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden, London.

This shrine will contain a first class relic of Bl Carlo, which was presented to the Corpus Christi by Cardinal Vincent Nichols.

The shrine has been carved by Ferdinand Stuflesser in Italy, who also carved the statues of Our Lady of Walsingham, St Anthony, Padre Pio and the Curé d'Ars which can already be seen around the church in Maiden Lane.
