Oratorio: The Sun Does Shine

This new oratorio by Harvey Brough, based in the book by Anthony Ray Hinton, is being performed by Vox Holloway at St Luke's Church, West Holloway, London N7 9JE Sunday 16 October.

Based on the true story of a man who survived 30 years on Death Row before winning his freedom in 2015, it is a story of injustice, survival, and redemption, one that has urgent relevance for us all.

With soloists Wills Morgan, Christina Gill, Clara Sanabras and Michael Henry, the oratorio takes us on a dark journey through racism, abuse of power and unimaginable hardship to the point where love, faith, forgiveness, grim determination, and the best of humanity wins through.
