Concert for Peace - in aid of Ukrainian refugees

Music For Peace - a celebration of music and humanity, with classical, jazz, Senegalese music and beyond will take place in the magical Sands Films Music Room in Rotherhithe - 82 Saint Marychurch St, London SE16 4HZ on Wednesday, 30 March at 8pm. The concert will also be live-streamed in excellent quality.

This celebration of music and humanity, with classical, jazz, Senegalese music and beyond features the following London-based musicians: Alice Zawadzki (voice/violin), Fred Thomas (piano/bass), Kadialy Kouyate (kora virtuoso and vocals); and Sacconi Quartet (string quartet).

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Sanctuary Foundation which supports new arrivals from Ukraine. Everybody involved is very generously giving their time, talent and services for free.

Watching the humanitarian disaster unfolding in Ukraine right now, many of us are wondering what we can do to help. The Sanctuary Foundation invites you to make a real difference to the lives of Ukrainian people. Potential ways you could be involved include: Welcoming a Ukrainian family to live in your community. Finding and possibly furnishing suitable accommodation. Raising of support funds. Befriending and integration support through volunteering your time.
