New head teacher for Mount St Mary's College

A new head teacher is to join Mount St Mary's College this September.
Dan Wright, will move to the College with his wife Georgina and three sons in the summer. Mr Wright, who is currently head teacher at a school in Stockport, said he was delighted to be making the move to Spinkhill, near Sheffield.
"My wife and I have been given the kindest welcome at Mount St Mary's College and we are very much looking forward to moving over the Pennines and making the school our home," he said.
"Our boys William, Tobias and Teddy will be joining their respective years at the Mount and Barlborough Hall School, and they're very excited at the prospect of making lots of new friends."
A graduate of St Andrews and Cambridge, Mr Wright has a love of live theatre and musical performance. He will bring a wealth of experience with him to Mount St Mary's College, which will be his second headship.
He said: "Mount St Mary's College is a very special place where learning and individual development are the heart of everything.
"It's an honour to be the College's next head teacher and I can't wait to get started."
Mount St Mary's College is a leading Catholic, independent day and boarding school for children aged 11 to 18.
