Archdiocese of Cardiff seeks Safeguarding Co-ordinator

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cardiff is committed to safeguarding and this vacancy provides an opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to lead the Safeguarding function for the Archdiocese.

The Safeguarding Co-ordinator has a senior role in facilitating the on-going development of safeguarding across the Archdiocese, demonstrating strong and inspiring leadership skills, leading the delivery of case support, supervision and the provision of expert advice to the Archbishop, Trustees and Clergy and taking appropriate action in response to safeguarding issues that arise.

The successful applicant will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policy procedures and best practice guidance and come from a background of either Social Work, Police, Probation or Health, with specific experience in safeguarding at a senior level.
