Jesuit Young Adult Ministries seek p/t Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator

Jesuit Young Adult Ministries (YAM) is inviting applications for a part-time Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator to join its central London team. The role, which is 17.5 hours per week with flexible hybrid working options, offers a salary of £15,000-£18,000 pro-rata.

The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping the ministry's operations running smoothly while connecting young adults with meaningful volunteer opportunities across London. Responsibilities include managing office administration, financial records, and reports; coordinating volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement; and assisting in the planning and delivery of events and programmes.

YAM describes itself as a community where young adults grow together in friendship and faith, inspired by the Ignatian mission of being "men and women for others." The ministry is part of the Jesuits in Britain, a registered charity operating in England, Wales, and Scotland.

Applicants should have strong organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality. Experience in volunteer engagement, database management, and event planning is desirable.

The role comes with benefits including flexible hours, a 5% employer pension contribution, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work within a supportive, faith-driven team.

Interested candidates are asked to submit a CV and cover letter to yam@jesuit.org.uk by 5th December. Shortlisted candidates will be asked for references and will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
