Balfour Project seeks part time Programme Co-ordinator

The Balfour Project seeks an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on justice and equal rights.

Acknowledging Britain's continuing historical responsibilities, it works through popular education and advocacy to persuade the British Government to recognise the state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel and uphold equal rights. We now have funds to appoint a Programme Co-ordinator on a consultancy basis, working part-time (equivalent to 2 days a week over a monthly period) for a period of one year in the first instance. The appointment is worth between £10,000 and £15,000. Expenses, including travel costs, will be paid.

Tasks will include, as time allows:

Managing events
Assisting with fund-raising from Trusts and other sources
Maintaining the website
Assisting the Hon Secretary in supporting the Trustees, Executive Committee and Advisory Forum
Liaising with other groups in this field.
The Co-ordinator will be home-based within easy travelling of London and will report to an appointed Executive Committee Member.
