Film: Edie
Edie, in cinemas from 25th May, tells the story of Edith Moore, an elderly woman who decides to fulfil a life-long dream of climbing Mount Suilven in Scotland. Featuring an unforgettable performance from Sheila Hancock, the film offers a chance to reflect on the themes of regret and renewal which run through all of our lives, and which are at the heart of the Christian message.
A companion booklet for Edie has been published by Damaris Media and Mothers' Union. Featuring background information on the film, discussion questions and reflections, this resource - available to download here - is perfect for church groups.
