India: Eyewitness report of funeral of Brother James Kimpton FSC

On 10 October 2017 we published a report on the death of Brother James Kimpton FSC, at the age 92, at Reaching the Unreached, the organisation he founded in the small village of Kallupatti in India. For more than 65 years, he made a great difference to the lives and wellbeing of countless destitute children and families in the rural villages of southern India and Sri Lanka where he gave a lifetime of service to the very poorest people. Rarely can a single person have touched so many lives in such a positive way. More than 100,000 people came to pay their last respects and attend his funeral.
