Countdown to Embrace Liverpool

The countdown has begun. Last year more than 1,000 young people attended the first youth conference at Liverpool Cathedral. The numbers coming to this year's event - on Saturday, 21 November - look set to be even higher. The lineup of speakers include David Wells, Fr Frankie Mulgrew, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal, Living Joyfully Vocations and the Knights of St Columba to name but a few.

The themes for 2015 are based on the lyric in the Embrace Anthem 'Build my kingdom here and now' and from the readings of the day 'My kingdom is not of this world' John 36 - we will be looking at the role we all have in Building the Kingdom of God on earth by sharing our faith with others and caring for all, through using our own God given talents.
