As the clock of St Paul's Cathedral strikes 12 noon on Wednesday 1st April 2015, the Cross, carried by nine-year-old Shay O'Dwyer will enter Paternoster Square and will be blessed by Bishop Nicholas Hudson. Palm Crosses will be distributed. There will be five stops covering the 14 Stations.

At the first stop, covering the first three Stations of the Cross, (1st Jesus is condemned to death; 2nd Jesus receives the Cross: 3rd Jesus falls the first time the meditation). will be read by Malcolm Johnstone and a talk given by Bishop Nicholas Hudson.

The second stop, in Bow Bells Churchyard will cover the 4th - 6th Stations (4th Jesus is met by his blessed mother; 5th Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus to carry his cross and 6th Veronica wipes the face of Jesus. The meditation will be read by John Watts and a talk given by the Rev Dr Simon Woodman of Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church.

The third stop - on the steps of the Royal Exchange will cover the 7th - 9th stations) (7th Jesus falls a second time; 8th Jesus speaks to the women of Jerusalem and 9th Jesus falls the third time). The meditation will be read by Councillor Catherine McGuiness and the talk given by Commissioner William Cochrane, International Secretary to the Chief of Staff. Salvation Army.

The fourth stop will take place in the Guildhall Yard (10th Station Jesus is stripped of his garments; 11th Station Jesus is nailed to the Cross; 12th Station Jesus dies on the Cross). The meditation will read by Alderman & Sheriff Dr Andrew Parmley and the talk given by Sister Jane- All Saints Anglican Sister of the Poor, Oxford.

Stop five will take place at the Barbican - behind the Guildhall (13th Station - Jesus is taken down from the Cross; 14th Station - Jesus is placed in the tomb). The meditation will be read by Dennis Delderfield and the talk given by Rev Christopher Smith, Vicar of St Alban, Holborn.
