Resignation of bishop

We were very sorry to hear of the resignation of Bishop Keiran Conry, who has been such a good pastor in our diocese. Whatever personal difficulties he has we want him to know he is loved and supported by our family and I sure many others.

We are very sorry to see him go and are praying for him.

Personally I feel much more shocked at the news this week of the Archbishop of Canterbury saying that he supports the bombing of Iraq. Now that really is a scandal.
