American Pax Christi group expected in Iraq today

An American Pax Christi delegation is due to arrive in Baghdad today to protest against a possible war against the country. The eleven-strong group includes several priests, nuns and laypeople. Across America today, Pax Christi and other peace groups also plan to hold a a series of rallies, prayers vigils and services to mark International Human Rights Day. More than 140 American Catholic bishops belong to Pax Christi - which has around 140,000 members in the USA.
